Service Description: This data set contains natural color, leaf-off imagery with 18-inch pixel resolution, from the 2010 Wisconsin Regional Orthophoto Consortium (WROC). Flights occurred in the Spring of 2010 for the entire State of Wisconsin. Re-flights were necessary for the eastern 4 mi of Columbia Co., parts of NW Oconto Co, and the south half of Lincoln Co. during the spring of 2011. For 2010 WROC product specifications, see: http://dnr.wi.gov/maps/gis/documents/WROC_2010_Specs.pdf. For metadata, see: http://dnr.wi.gov/maps/gis/documents/WROC_2010_Metadata.htm. Landsat Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus (ETM+) imagery displays at map scales smaller than 1:760,000. The Landsat image resolution is 14.25 meters by 14.25 meters. Wisconsin DNR staff downloaded the Landsat mosaics in March 2010 from the USGS Global Visualization Viewer (GloVis) for use as a small-scale image backdrop for WDNR image services.
